Using Lernote

Lernote lets you read books and documents, write notes and study. By using it you agree to these terms. You must use it lawfully and only with files you have the right to use. What you import or write stays yours; we don't claim any rights to it.

Your account

An account is optional and is only needed to sync your library between devices, use shared books and use AI features. Keep your sign-in details safe. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; this permanently deletes everything synced to it. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Plans and payments

• Free has limits on books, notebooks and AI credits, shown on the Plans screen.
• Essential is a one-time payment that unlocks the plan for 2 years. It does not renew by itself.
• Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly. It renews automatically until you cancel.

All purchases are made through Apple (the App Store) and are charged to your Apple account. Apple's own terms apply to them, including its refund rules. Prices are shown in the app and include VAT. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel at any time in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions); the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If you bought a plan on another device, use Restore Purchases in the Plans screen. What you made always stays yours and usable if a plan ends.

AI features

AI answers are generated automatically and can be wrong. Check anything important. AI is metered in credits, which refill every month. Text you send to the AI is processed by our AI provider to produce the answer, and isn't used to train models.

Availability

We work to keep Lernote running and your data safe, but we provide it "as is", without guarantees, and we aren't liable for losses that come from using it. Keep your own backup of anything important (Settings has one). We may change these terms or the plans; if we do, we'll update this page.
